Productive day ...

Two of these cards were done before the kids were even in bed! Wahoo! To be honest, I did one last night but I had to let the stickles dry. Here they are ...

Sigh. I love
A Muse. I used some Basic grey Phoebe paper (from a 6x6 so I have no idea what the specific pattern is) to do the couch. I put stardust stickles on the couch cushions. I used the mega and giga marvy scalloped ovals to frame the image. Everything else is really straightforward. The rest of the deets are as follows ... A Muse sentiment, small oval, and couch; SU! Dots and Daisies BG (why oh why did this get retired!!!???); Paper: mellow moss, rose red and whisper white; Ink: black stazon, mellow moss, rose red; Etc: pewter hph, sweet shop SU ribbon, white gel pen (signo from SU), sponges, stardust stickles.

This is my first official SCS challenge card and it's a two-fer! It's the Triangle Trifold (TLC112) technique challenge and color challenge 110 - combo 2 (rose red, elegant eggplant, and so saffron). The stamps are the little chick from very punny, an
A Muse sentiment and the polka dots and petals jumbo wheel from SU! I used the mega square punch (whisper white) and the giga scalloped square punch (rose red) and then cut a square out of eggplant. The brad is from SU. It is a really basic card. The ribbon is May arts ... the white doesn't feel quite right so I might change it but otherwise I'm pleased.

As you can probably tell I've been having a lot of fun just playing around with some new AMuse stamps. Another fun easy card. I did the marvy giga scalloped square (two of 'em, layered) just behind the bella -- that I did with some green paper (?? name ??) in my Phoebe 6x6 pack. The sentiment is A Muse, so is the grass. That's my frequently used Gardenabella (didn't think I'd get as much use out of her as I have) from Stamping Bella. The ribbon is .... from Texasjodylynn. It's a share of hers I did a couple of months ago. I think this is the first time I've used ribbon from that share.

It's getting so tedious to type out a recipe for every card. I like including the important details of what I did to a helpless little card but I don't know if it's essential to put down every single deet every single time. Of course I want to give proper PROPS to the stamp companies (CASE-ers/CASE-ees etc) and not get sued/flamed into oblivion by someone thinking I'm taking credit for something that's not originally mine. You know all that important, incendiary copyright blahdeeblah bizness. Of course if anyone out there in cyberland (am I the only one getting the PBSKids reference here?) had a question about some detail, just leave a comment/question. I promise I will promptly answer you to the best of my ability.

Love these cards Sarah! AMuse stamps are awesome aren't they? Keep these coming! I know typing the details must be so tedious but it really is help for your readers (at least, I'm speaking for myself).

Once AGAIN you MADE me have to buy a stamp (the A Muse couch that I just bought on ebay). You do it to me everytime. My husband should erase you from my favorites :)
