Cheap. Cheap.

Here's a super cheap post.

I did these flowers a long way back. I love this stamp set and was practising my water coloring. I think they turned out well. I've had this image stuck on my board for weeks, thinking frequently to myself, "I have to make a card with that -- but first that Bella looks lonely!" Anyway, I'm working on some very hush hush projects (snort!) and I can't post them yet (even though they're totally SWEET!!!) so I decided to make a quickie card with that image. The colors are Apricot, Artichoke, Rose Red, Whisper White & Kraft. It's sized to fit into the short open end envelopes from SU! Overall, I like it, I like the buttons/hemp twine. The bi-color back layer is a question mark for me (opinions, please ... is it a yes or a no?) -- it's mostly due to my cheapness on not being able to find a bigger scrap and not wanting to cut into a whole new sheet of CS. Tell me I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm a compulsive scrap-user-aholic. I design whole cards around scraps. I'm fine with it, I can admit it and move on and only feel slightly annoyed. But my biggest question is "WHY isn't my scrap pile getting any smaller????" It's some kind of cruel joke of the universe.

Also, I do want to say that I was inspired to do this card by a card in Emily Giovanni's Blog Banner ... I don't know if it's in her gallery on SCS or not, I'm too lazy to check. Sorry.

OK, totally random ... props to Chris Richardson singing Geek In The Pink on AI tonight. Wowza! I totally did not see that coming!! He's gonna give B-cubed (Beat Box Boy) a run for his money. Though none of the dawg pound is going to be able to come close to the sisters. Sorry.

Love the three buttons in a row threaded with hemp twine. Cool card!
