Avalanche stamping ...

That's what I call what happened to this card.

First, I stamped the lovely LOCKHART image and colored it in. Fine and dandy. Then I decided to do my "clear glaze + quickie glue + dazzling diamonds glitter = megabling" trick. Fine. Then it needed this lovely paper and some lovely coordinating ribbon. Then the bow/ribbon was overpowering the card so it needed more layers and then the brads and the punched out sentiment (BY A MUSE) and on and on and on ... it was like an paper-ribbon-embellishment avalanche careening down a mountain. I was powerless to stop it. Is it a disaster? I won't be able to tell until tomorrow morning. I must step away. What do y'all think? Is it over the top?

Well, I think that's it for me tonight. Happy weekend all. Thanks as always for stopping by!

PS. Wow! That's a bad picture. I will try to take a better one tomorrow in some daylight.

I think its great. I have always loved the pink & brown color combintaion. I know what you mean about "avalanche stamping". That happened to me on an ATC I did recently & I still felt like it needed something, but I was running out of room on the ATC so I had to stop.:( I'm looking forward to the pictures of the swaps!!

One of my all-time favorite color combos. The ribbon is GORGEEEOUS! Good nuff to eat!
