Cinco de Mayo ...

(can't help thinking of the Liz Phair song ... and a certain bachelorette party in Las Vegas, ahhh good times!)

And yet another blog template change. I hope I'm not making anyone dizzy here. I think this is final ... for now. I really just wanted something spring-y. Then the ol' man had to go figure out how to create and add blog banners. Sheesh!!

OK. Now back to our regularly scheduled
A*Muse*A*Palooza-ing (don't forget to register to win! win! win! and tell 'em Sarah Bertolino sent ya'!!!) ... Here's my third (!!) card for the first design challenge. I was sitting at my desk/craft altar begging the layout gods for a smidgen of mercy and spied a couple of stamps and boy howdy did that ol' light bulb go ON!!

All images by A Muse. I personally don't need to be prego to FEEL this sentiment, if you know what I mean. Anyway, click click click this card just came together. The polka dot card is by A Muse and the other paper is SU whisper white and pixie pink (the colors match a bit better in real life, honest). The primas have hot pink A Muse twinkle sticker things in their centers.

A few new bellas arrived today. Now if only I can stop with the A Muse long enough to get those gals inked up ... (not to mention, an unhealthy amount of SU rubber ... so many stamps, so little time!)

Grumpabella by Stamping Bella and the sentiment is by Viva Las Vegas stamps (purchased at a local stamp store). I stole this colored polka dot idea from Yvette (genius). The card is kind of simple and blah but it'll pass with a push. I don't know if the scan shows it or not but I found these wacky glitter markers at Paper Source today ... they're by American Crafts. I bought one pink and one called "Pure Glitter" (aww yeah!). Grumps cup has pink glitter on it ... didn't turn out so hot on such a small space but her shadow, collar and belt have the pure glitter on them and over a bigger application area they worked well. Though to be honest my sakura stardust gel pen would probably work just as well ... I'm willing to work with them some more so I'll see.

Don't forget to go vote for the A Muse Mom's Day reader gallery contest. Wa-hoo!!!

This looks great (and thank you for mentioning me--I am blushing)! I think I need both of those stamps--I'm not a morning person, either. :D

Love the sentiment on Grumpabella! Great cards. I've had the prego stamp from A Muse for 2 years and have only used it twice. You did a great job with those cards!
