Challenge #2

-- NO black ink!!! I had a hunch (and those lovely gals at A Muse gave such a great hint) about this one so I had "only color" in mind when I made this card this afternoon ...

I hope it's obvious that this is navy ink and card stock and not black (well, SU!'s Night of Navy to be specific). This rather simple card took a bit of finagling to come together but I'm really happy with the end result. "Think simple. Think A Muse." Right? Sometimes, not as easy as it sounds. The ribbon is May arts ... (but that Strano looks delightful!!!)


Anyway, the absolute BEST part about this card is that it has a destination and purpose other than to sit on my shelves and look pretty. I have a good friend who just had her first baby, a boy (how'd you guess?) and I now I have a card to send her! Yippee!!!
