I wanna play too!

After seeing so many nifty cards posted with Dutch Girl paper, I could not resist my lemming-tendencies any longer. Here's what came of it ...

Not too shabby since tonight is my worst (read: most) TV night (eye roll!) AND the basement is totally flooded from super heavy rain and hail. The flooding includes, most annoyingly, the carpet squares under my workspace ... whose idea was it to glue them to the cement floor??? (**EYE ROLL**). Nothing was damaged but we sure were/are happy to have the wet/dry vac. Ahhh, the joys of home ownership. Anyway ... The layout of this card was inspired by several of the cards on Joanne's blog and Julie's blog.

Deets: Stamps: the sentiment is A Muse, the lushy gal is Cosmobella from Stamping Bella (please note the pink cheeks this time ... she's had a few already ... can you say ME tomorrow night?!? ha ha ... no really.) CS: real red, whisper white, patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket's Dutch Girl (Audrey and Anna). Ink: Palette Noir ink; Markers: real red, bordering blue blush blossom, cocoa and versamarker; Etc: I covered her glass with the sakura clear glaze pen and her belt with the stardust pen. I punched out the red using the marvy giga scalloped oval and I used the coluzzle to cut out the gal, dotted the red layer with the white gel pen. I used the versamarker/IIEP trick on the red flowers. The ribbon is SU's red grosgrain. The prima + brad are covering up a trial and definite ERROR with some ultra fine red glitter and glue. That's about it.
