How's your bracket so far?

I love March Madness. I love college basketball! I love the post season. I especially love the first round when there are 16 games per day! It feels so productive. I really like those sentimental highlight montages set to trendy music. I choke up every time. I even like Dick Vitale. Really. Anyway, beak 'em 'Hawks tomorrow! Hee hee!

Here's the card I made tonight while flipping the TV between Grey's and Duke's loss (doh! at least I didn't have them going into the sweet 16 -- the Old Man and I always have some bet based on who ends up with the better bracket, good times!)

There is NOTHING fancy about this card. How could there be when I was multitasking like a vid-iot?! Let's see ... paper: lavender lace, au chocolate, chocolate chip, and SU w/c paper. The ribbon is from Mike's. Everything is up on dimensionals and the biggest shock of all ... there is not a drop of sparkle on this entire card. I'm hyperventilating just a touch even typing that sentence out but I'm going to go with it. I did color her dress with almost amethyst and a blender pen and the shadow under her is done with sahara sand.

That is a wonderful color combination and it doesn't need any sparkle, it's great just the way it is!

Sarah, I've just started subscribing to your blog and you get credit for introducing me to the wonderful world of STAMPING BELLA. Your cards inspired me to use the Bellas (I'm using SposaBella) for my friend's bridal shower invitations! I love your blog and enjoy your beautiful creations!
